Valentines Day CRAFTS!!!

ok... so way lame of me, but I can't tell you where I got these ideas from. I did get them from other blogs and saved them in a folder, but now I can't find the original sites... so I apologize to the people that originally came up with them.

HALLOWEENcraftingPALOOZA

Some would say that labor day is too early to bring out the Halloween Decor. My mom and I would disagree. It is NEVER too early for Halloween.

Spring Time Crafts

My mom always says how UN-CRAFTY she is. The truth is, she is extremely creative and crafty. So creative that one of the ladies at Ben Franklin copied her ideas. So last weekend mom had a bunch of crafts ready to create when I came home.

A bottle of paint and a couple of glue gun sticks later we had the MOST ADORABLE carrot planter ever!!!!

We've been looking for an egg wreath for the past month but we couldn't find one with the right colors. So we made one. Yes, you heard me correctly, we made an egg wreath.





Our next craft was a glass brick for spring. We started doing seasonal bricks for our seasonal display. This one turned out so stinkin cute!



And we found some baby ducklings at the craft store that were lacking some embellishment. So of course mom brought them home so we could make them even more cute than they already were.


It might just be me, but I think that the "ugly" duckling is the cutest thing I have ever seen.

'Tis the Season...

I love CHRISTMAS!!!!! I think everyone should start decorating the minute Halloween ends! I understand that Thanksgiving is important, but I don't think Christmas Decor distracts from the feeling of the Holidays! (lets be honest, the only feeling I get at Thanksgiving is the feeling of overeating..) Anyway... like i said i LOVE Christmas!!! And nothing says love like DECORATIONS...

we had tons of fun, and they turned out way easier than I thought they would be!


We started with wire hangers, and made them into circles..


Pick your bulbs, whatever colors you want... and then string them on!!! told you! way stinkin' easy!



be patient.. they take a while..



and you might go a little crazy while you're stringing bulbs and singing christmas songs...



but the finished product is worth it!!!

mY WeeK iN hiGhLiGhTs

This week....
I learned how to crochet
My BFF Alexx taught me how to crochet. I have always wanted to learn how to crochet, but could never figure it out. My grandma always tried to teach me when I would ask her, but she is left handed, and it always ended in frustration towards each other. So anyway, I'm working on my first scarf right now!!! Thanks Alexx!



Roommate Night on Tuesday!
We made dinner together!!! Brittney made clam chowder, Mckayla made bread sticks, Bonnie made cornbread and Rebecca and I made chocolate cake with hot chocolate sauce!!! It was so much fun!!!!!! My roommates are amazing and they are fantastic cooks! So happy I live here and got to meet them!!!

The Office Wedding on Thursday!
Jim and Pam finally got married! I was so happy! I know everyone has been rooting for them from the beginning, but seeing the wedding last Thursday was so perfect!!! Love the office!!!


Made amazing dinners this week!!! Seriously! I made butternut squash two nights this week. I tried two different sauces and both were amazing! I love the feeling I get when I make something yummy!!!!











WEEKEND PLANS!!!!!!!
My roommate/BFF Bonnie came home with me this weekend!!!!! We went to Lagoon on Friday night. We were able to go on all of the rides and see all of the shows. Including the Hypnotist show!!! I went up on stage and I was hypnotized for my first time. It was the weirdest experience!!! But seriously awesome, if you ever have the chance to be hypnotized, DO IT!!!






On Saturday, we went to breakfast at my favorite breakfast joint. I went to work and Bonnie stayed with my family. When I got home, we went to dinner at Tepanyaki for dad's birthday!




Sunday I had to work, Parents had a golf tournament and Bonnie came to Lagoon with Megan to see Windy and friends!!!! Fantastic weekend!!!
